Deepika Deepti has been named Senior Vice President of Marketing at Metro Brands Ltd.

Fashion footwear retailer Metro Brands Ltd. has named Deepika Deepti as its new Senior Vice President of Marketing. With 18 years of experience in the retail industry, Deepti was listed as one of the top 100 leaders in India by Luxebook for 2020. Working with managing director Farah Malik Bhanji and CEO Nissan Joseph, Deepti will lead the company’s marketing initiatives. Metro Brands Ltd. is an 80-year-old footwear brand.

Deepika Deepti, who has been appointed as the senior vice president of marketing at Metro Brands Ltd., stated that her goal is to stay up-to-date with marketing advancements and continue to enhance brand prestige. Prior to joining Metro Brands, Deepti served as the CEO and CMO at Camp SMA, and has 18 years of experience in the retail industry. She has also worked with other prominent brands, such as Veg Non-Veg and Bhaane, where she was responsible for managing brands such as Adidas Originals, Yeezy, Statement, and Neo across India and emerging markets.

At present, Metro Brands runs 720 stores across 160 cities in India, in addition to several websites and dedicated pages on major Indian e-commerce platforms. Its portfolio includes popular brands such as Metro Shoes, Mochi, and Walkway, and it operates retail stores exclusively for FitFlop, Biofoot, and Crocs in the country.
